We are very excited that we will be part of the upcoming workshop organised by the University of Warsaw, ‘Antiquity Reaches Society.’ The rapid pace of socio-political, technological change in the modern world and the defunding of the humanities programs have all posed challenges to the study of History and the Classics. This workshop aims to improve communication between classicists and the public so that the important work and skills involved in this field of study can reach and benefit a broader audience.
We will be part of the panel on Outreach Genres, presenting a short talk on our fourteen years in the podcasting game entitled ‘Sounds Like History: Podcasting and Historiography.’
